well in the usa several planes crashed into the infrastructure: 2 into the world trade centers in new york city, one in the pentagon, one crashed landed.

I lost my TV cable signal, so I went hiking with a buddy.
We stood on top of a hill near a major city and realized the lack of air traffic was positively spooky, especially because there were fighter patrols flying up and down occasionally. Normally the three international airports in the area draw constant air traffic.
