I was talking with my daughter today about gangs and such and how certian people don't want to associate with the colors red or blue. I told her that the only thing we had to worry about when I was growing up was whether or not we wore yellow on Thursdays. She didn't believe. Hopefully there are some other 'older' people out there that remember it too.

I remember that!
Also, any other day of the week, if you wore green and yellow together, that meant you were gay too....so silly.
But in my case, it was back in the 60s and I think we we all a lot more naive, and didn't really understand, and as is usually the case with something we don't understand, we tend to make fun of it.

When I was in High School, wearing GREEN on Thursday meant you were gay.
That was 1960 - 1964.
