It's an emotive question and you succeeded to stir up emotions in people. Since, in my opinion, paedophilia is not something that can be cured or that a person can be trained to ignore I think that, for the safety of all children, he should be detained in prison for the rest of his life. It is a personality disorder & therefore is inborn & is as natural to him as breathing. He feels no remorse because paedophiles are only answering an inborn compulsion & do not think they have done anything wrong.

As much as I agree that paedophilia is an exceptionally greivous offence and is morally unjustifiable, it is irreconcilable to suggest a death sentence, which is contrary to both the ECHR, and UK law. Especially seeing as Murder itself attracts only a life sentence. Even china, one of the most visibly corrupt superpowers has recently dropped capital punishment for such crimes unless exceptionally greivous. Lock them away and throw away the key, but capital punishment is playing God.
