I agree, fleur is a little hot under the collar but of course she is entitled to her opinion. Of course, I believe the majority of people do not trust Iran and that if something like this happens again, it could get very ugly. I hope it never happens again.

they have to do is sit back and watch a stupid government send their troops to fight a war that will never be won!!!!

Britain has done its part. As far as the UN sanctions are concerned Britain had a part in it as well. The ball is in Iran's court now. Theres no recourse but to see what happens next.
The 15 sailors incident was really unfourtunate.
Its obvious quite frankly...where this is leading to; Sooner or later...Iran will be involved in a conflict. Its poor citizens will be the ones who will take the full brunt of the conflict...as in all wars.
I think Iran's president should seriously think of other ways to improve its standing within the international community. Iran right now does not need a hardlined approach to resolve the current issues facing it.
Taking " two steps" back would do wonders I believe for this country. But will its administration and its president do so? I think not.
Thats the sad part of all this!

There aren't many options, if any.
My question, in response to your question, is how far will the West be pushed before they respond with violence or serious punishment?
Very honestly, every way we move the chess piece, we end up in check.
We will end up in conflict with them at some point.
Iran is a threat. The reason being they want to bring back the twelth Imam. If you don't know what that entails, look it up. But when it comes down to it, it means we're sh*t out of luck.
There is a reason why the major powers in the world don't want Iran to have nukes. Their president and other leaders in Iran want to create a complete and total Islamic state.
Islamic extremists + Nukes = Bad things for us.

Iran treated the British sailors in a very good way , they weren't forced to anything
Besides what would Iran gain from it anyway ? Didn't the hostages return safely to their homeland or didn't they ?
You're talking about punishing Iran as if you're talking about punishing a five-year-old .. " An air raid should do wonders !" , " Shooting their Nuclears' ! " Britain has nuclear powers so why shouldn't Iran have any ?

During this crisis, the wimpy citizens of the once great Britain said the government should do NOTHING. That it was better to loose their navy personnel for no good reason than to engage in ANY military action against Iran.
They have spoken.

You mean the lies the soldiers were ordered to tell about their "alleged" torture, incarceration, and death threats?
Strange how pictures and videos don't lie.
And unless that's not *them* on video, but stunt doubles ENJOYING themselves and relaxing in their duds...?
I'm less inclined to believe the Brits than I am of the Iranians.
