The doctor would do a pelvic exam, and look for the presence of an intact hymen, a membrane that partially closes the vagina canal in most virgin women and girls. However, some athletic activites can damage it, and in some girls, the hymen does not develop very much. That means that the hymen exam is not conclusive by itself.

My mom threatened me with that years ago too. There's really no such thing as a virgin test. The closest thing would be a vaginal exam. On the order of what happens when you get a pap. The doctor basically checks you internally with his fingers. But honestly, your wall could have been broken without having to had lost your virginity. Don't stress your moms threat.

there is not such thing as a virgin test. The only way someone can tell whether you are a virgin or not is if you went and got a pap test. A doctor looks down there and they can tell if your hymn has been broke or not, when your hymn breaks you bleed and your not a virgin. Some are born without a hymn. I was so i never bled when i lost my virginity

If you have never had intercourse you have a piece of skin called a hymen. This is just inside the vagina, when there is penetration this little piece of skin is broken and it usually hurts slightly when this happens. I will tell you that some women do not even have one to begin with. Some people refer to the hymen in derogatory terms as a (cherry). Have you ever had a female exam. This is nothing to worry about it usually doesn't hurt. The doc won't do this unless you broke your hymen. All I can say is if you did it you should have a female exam. Take care of yourself hope I didn't scare you it will be ok don't worry.

I don't know what she hopes to accomplish with this. The hymen is not a reliable indicator of virginity. Some girls were born without them, while others have had theirs broken due to an accident or rough sports.

they will check for presence of hymen or not, spread your legs and inspect yor vagina from outside, and a little inside they wont insert anything in there becoz they will be afraid to rupture the hymen .its a thin small membrane that is a an embryonal remanenet and is ruptured after intercourse ,and bleeds
