A startup program I want to run when I startup is being blocked by this stupid defender, and I don't know how to tell it to leave it alone....please help!! Vista HP

when all else fails go to MICROSOFT.COM and ask them..Its there program...

If windows Defender is blocking it I wouldn't run it, It is trying to change something in your windows program. Might be a virus or spyware if you can't trust the site were you got it from don't run it. Search the Internet for a compatible program and run it.

check the program you like to start up by following this steps..
1.Click on Start
2.Click on Run
3.Type msconfig
4.Click on Start Up Tab then check the box the program you would like to start

the second option is to open windows defender and check the setting there....

open up windows defender it will ask if you want to accept or decline.

Perhaps there is spyware in that program that you are trying to run?
