Well ok, this morning my computer was working fine. I turned it off and then when i go back on like a few hours later, nothing seems to be working besides internet explorer. Whenever I click the things that I installed, it says "Windows cannot open this file. To open this file, Windows needs to know what program created it. Windows can go online to look it up automatically, o ryou can manually select from a list of programs on your computer." PLEASE HELP WHAT IS WRONG?!??!?!?

If you are running Windows XP you can do a system restore to before your last download. To do this go to Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore. The program will lead you though the steps. That will probably work. If not and you do not have an anti-virus then you can download one at Grisoft. The link is in the sources box. This is a very good anti-virus to be free. I have been using it and recommending it for years!

Put...windows cannot open this file....in your web browser..websites will come up that may assist you....
