Rationalize the denominator & simplify.

V`10 / V`(5) - 2

First: multiply the conjugate of V`(5) - 2 with the numerator & denominator which is, V`(5) + 2

[ V`(5)+2] [V`10] / [V`(5)+2 ] [V`(5)-2]

Sec: combine the numerators & denominators.

[V`(5*10)+2V`(10)] / [V`(5)*V`(5)+2V`(5)-2V`(5)-2*2]

[V`(50)+2V`(10)] / [V`(25)+2V`(5)-2V`(5)-4]

[V`(50)+2V`(10)] / [5+2V`(5)-2V`(5)-4]

[V`(50)+2V`(10)] / [5-4]

[V`(2*5*5)+2V`(10)] / 1

5 V`(2) + 2V`(10)

sqrt 10/(sqrt5) - 2

= sqrt 10/((sqrt 5) -2 ) x ((sqrt 5) + 2)/((sqrt 5) +2)

= ((sqrt 10) (sqrt 5) + 2sqrt(10)/(5 -4)

= (sqrt10) (sqrt5) + 2sqrt10

= sqrt 50 + 2sqrt10

= (sqrt25 ) (sqrt 2) + 2sqrt10

= 5sqrt2 + 2sqrt10
