I asked this question last night but only one person answered. Thought I'd try it again. Maybe someone has an opinion. Had unprotected sex with bf on 3/21. Figured it was okay because period was due around 3/22 (cant get pregnant that week can you?). Got what I thought was my period on 3/26. Started as very light pink spot and then turned into brown spotting and only sometimes. Not all the time (and only after I wiped, TMI sorry!). 2 days and that was it. My normal period is pretty regular and lasts about 4 days. Well, then I started thinking I'm feeling like crap. My nipples are sore, breasts seem fuller, nausea, bloating, mild cramping, hungrier, sleepier but having trouble sleeping at night, some slippery clear discharge (feel wet)...Obsessing over it and just think I'm having "symptoms"? I took 2 tests (last one on 4/4 at 7 pm) and they both came back negative. Could it have been too soon to test if there's a chance? Wait until next period? Implantation bleeding a possibility?

Ok Back to reality...
From the description of your discharge sounds as if your going thru implantation bleeding, which would account for the neg HPT, as implantation has to occur first before you get a + result on a HPT.
Wait a few days and retest again

it is actually possible to ovulate at any time during your cycle. Most people don't ovulate that close to when AF woudl be due. But if you were sick, traveling, stressed, your O could have been pushed back and therefore your AF pushed back. I had what you had and also had negative tests. The next month I had a positive really early(i was trying to get pg) and the Dr said I was actually pg from the month before. I would keep testing if I were you. Also test first thing in the morning with your first urine. The hormones will be more concentrated and the test more accurate. it is very diluted after drinking/eating throughout the day.

If it was implantation bleeding, I don't think it would have happened that soon - unless you got pregnant in February. Most women don't notice they are pregnant until their period is late or not at all. When this happens, some women experience light bleeding, like you said, and that usually is implantation bleeding. At that point, they are usually 4-5 weeks pregnant. Hope this makes sense. It could very well be way too early to tell - some tests aren't accurate until a missed period - which you may or may not have had!?
Anyways, good luck and I hope I didn't furthur confuse you!

2 of my friends ovulate on day 7. Which is not the "norm". So I dont see why you couldnt ovualte late. They say it takes 10 days for the HCG levels to become high enough to detect in urine. I had light bleeding with my first. Not my 2nd. My sis in law as 6 weeks prego and finally got a postive on the at home test. Good luck!

In my opinion you are not pregnant. My OB/GYN doctor told me now a days those home pregnancy test are so accurate they can pick up pregnancy very early that if you never took the test you'd never know you were pregnant to begin with (if a woman was to miscarry very early). The symptoms are just in your head from thinking too much about it. Stress will delay your period. Don't worry, to ease your mind take another test 3 weeks from now.

It most definetly was probably just too soon to test. You could be pregnant. Stress can really mess your periods up as well though so it's best to either make a doctor's appt and/or take another test in 3 days time.
