The first time I got pregnant, I had a little cramping like I was going to get my AF, my boobs hurt quite a bit also. The second time, I just "felt" pregnant. Still had the cramps, same as if I were getting ready for AF, boobs hurt, felt nausious "once in awhile" but not regularly. I just knew in my gut that I was pregnant the second time. Even after 20 or more Negative HPT's, I just knew. So I went and had blood test done at the dr., and they confirmed it. You don't need an appointment for a blood test usually, just call and request one from your family doctor or OBGYN. The cost of the blood test was far less than the cost of the 20+ HPT's that I bought, which all came up "false negative results". Also, you will know for sure with a blood test, because it can detect the pregnancy hormone in a very little time after conception, something like a day or two. You will know for sure, no getting your hopes up to have them dashed with a false positive, or thinking your crazy with a negative result and still no AF and feeling preggers. I am sure that some women can "just tell"... but I didnt know I was pregnant, until like 4 or 5 months later.. I went to the doctor and they told me I wasnt pregnant.. I didnt get an actual "You're Pregnant" until May 7th,2006 and I had my son June 25th,2006

You cannot tell for sure. Some people feel tired or nauseous, but the only way to really know is to see your doctor or take a test.

You can't be positive that you are pregnant without having a blood test or hpt done. I "knew" but still second guessed myself. It's all "I am", "No I'm not" "I am" until you actually have the proof.

first pregnancy had nausua felt like the flu and had to pee alot within 1 week. Which people and doctors say cant happen... 2nd one nothing. I knew with the second one right away. I just didnt feel the same.

when i got preganat my breast felt funny i wouldnt say they hurt bad but they really hurt me. my face got fast and broke out bad. i couldnt stand to look at my boyfriend for some reason (l.O.l)

WHen you are late for your period, you take a test.
Symptoms don't start until later.
