Yes, there are ways that you can invoke the dead. I am not going to mention this here.
White witches are those that won't attempt to control another person at all costs. They are respectful of nature and those around them.

You cannot invoke the dead. White witches are witches dedicated to healing.

There is a way you can invoke the dead (convert them into Zombies and such). Usually that is reserved for the darker and blacker side of magic. If people want to look at casting spells, then the first people you can look at are the Catholics (yes I am one), and converting bread and wine into the body and blood of Jesus, even though the intelligent Catholics would say that is strictly symbolic, protestant religions would say that is practicing paganism to a certain degree.
Then you have Christmas, which NOBODY knows the exact date let alone year. To settle on a date (here it comes again) those pesky Catholics in order to convert the druids in England used some smart thinking and said we have many of the same kinds of practices (bread and wine into body and blood, Birth of the savior, etc). So in all actuality we Christians actually practice a pagan holiday -- winter solstice a few day late and call it Christmas. Another pagan holiday that many people (christian and non alike) practice is Halloween or Hallows Eve, or for the Catholics ... All Saints Day.

Yes. I believe that you can invoke the dead, but it's not something that I would do or want to know about. It's not right in the eyes of God. The dead are to be left alone to rest. I'm not sure about witches, white or black. It's definitely part of the darkness and part of Satan's realm. I chose to walk in the light so am opposed to any power except that of God. Stay away from anything that is far removed from him. It's out there, it's real and it's a choice for us to make. Walk in light or live in darkness.

Why on earth would you want to? If I were dead, and enjoying my afterlife, it would be one thing if I volunteered to help and guide people, but if I hadn't, I would be pretty upset that someone would summon me. I think "summoning" someone to be rather rude, really, regardless of the nature of a being that is summoned. From time to time, I might *invite* a being to join me for some purpose, but it is an invitation, and the being is free to turn down same. There is no such thing as black or white magick. The energies of the universe are neutral. It is the intentions of the mage in question that "color" the practice. So called "white" witches, focus mainly upon positive energies, such as healing and such. IMHO, truly "black" or "white" energy is very rare. There are many shades of gray, and most of us settle for one or another, Witch, Christian, or otherwises....Summoning dead people is definitely not a practice of "white" witches....

invoke the dead??? a white witch is a peaceful witch, kind of liek a green witch (a treehugging witch, an environmentalist, a naturelover) a black witch is a bad witch, she cast spells to hurt people, but then she never knows when the rule of three will get her or he.

Personally I think zombies are so passe, but that's just me.
After my numerous readings, I have come to determine (this is pure speculation, most witches I believe don't classify themselves this way) that a:
White Witch is one who casts spells for their own benefit, they affect only themselves and no one else.
Black Witch is one who casts spells for/against others usually evil or because of ulterior motives such as greed.
Grey Witch will cast spells for other people, but never with bad intentions.

the dead?
what are you referring to?
the body of a person you once knew or ...
the person you once knew?
if you want to raise their body, that is a bit gross or a bit like Frankenstein.
if you want to contact the person you once knew,
the easiest way is to travel in your sleep to them.
the energy that makes us who we are doesn't die when the body dies. it moves on.
as for white witches? they are witches. the fearful and the media has created a distinction of "black or white".
the usual thought of white and black is,
those who practice white help people,
those who practice black hurt people.
hope this helps

"White majick" is a ploy to make you think the pawer you come in contact with is somehow clean- pure, or even good. While the power can be used for good it dosn't come from anything clean or pure. In fact the bible calls this power "unclean spirits" and its strictly forbidden by God himself. Any contact with unclean spirits, invoking the dead or majick- white or other- will only lead you to demonic possetion. To find out how to protect yourself I have a website, please look at it.
