Yes, you do, either a CD-R or CD+R, but keep in mind what you're using to play the cd with, because some older cd players will not be able to play the MP3 cd's.

while you're making an audio CD, it is not substantial if the source is WMA, MP3, M4A, or however; it is going to all get decoded into uncooked PCM audio. the only ability concern could be DRM-locked WMA data, yet those are probable nevertheless burnable with living house windows Media participant. you certainly shouldn't convert the WMAs into MP3s earlier burning to CD, because of the fact MP3 is a lossy encoding set of rules. you will lose some audio high quality.

You can use the same type. Just make sure you burn it as an audio cd instead of a data cd.

Note: some players(cd players or radio) might not be able to play it. PCs shouldn't have any problem.

It's a regular CD, but the format in which you record it is different. MP3 is dropped as a file, as opposed to an actual audio CD which has to follow what is known as "bluebook" format, but it's still the same physical CD.

Hi. There are CD labeled for 'data' and some labeled for 'music'. Either one will work for mp3 files. (The music CD costs a bit more due to the RIAA wanting some of your pennies.)

Yes, you use the same CD-R. Nero express has a "make mp3 disk" in the dropdown menu. Works pretty good.

Just make sure that you DON'T use a data disk, cause you'll hear nothing when you play it back, except maybe a loud buzzing noise.
