Here's a link to basic info on the fish and a quick part about breeding. The first site says breeding is difficult, but I didn't think they were any harder than most other african cichlids.

Hope this helps

This ties in with all 3 of your Q's. The common name is electric blue. The fish you are stating Scienchromis Ahli is a true fish, but not the one you have. These are very rare nowadays and petsmart will never have access to them. The fish you have is actually Scienchromis Fryeri. So start by searching the real name of the fish you have. OK for breeding, its basic and easy. 55g tank minimum. Lots of rocks for caves and use some slate rock so they have something extra to spawn on(besides tank bottom). I would recommend 1M to 3-4 Females as they are not pairing fish. Keep the water clean and around 80 degrees. Nature will take its course. These guys breed like rabbits once they are comfortable with their surroundings. Look into a local cichlid club, and you will find plenty of females around. Otherwise Aquabid, and your likely to find someone local there. Good luck and make sure you have extra tanks for fry, as parents will eat the offspring.
