Caddyshack is classic comedy. It's one of those movies that people pull quotes out of all the time - like "now I know why tigers eat there young", "you scratched my anchor", "your a monkey woman"......
It's a movie you need to watch about 50 times to appreciate. When first released in 1979/1980 it was considered a REALLY funny movie.
Same goes for Animal House.

Oh yeah! Rodney Dangerfield is on the golf course trying to play a game of golf, while Bill Murray (greens keeper) is out after a Gopher with a stick of dynamite to get rid of it. Just blowing holes all over the place....

funny, but not REALLY funny. The best part of the movie was Bill Murray, who is only supposed to be a bit player, and his battle against the gopher. Also, the Cinderella story scene he ad-libbed was excellent.
