Um, global warming actually causes global cooling. Let's go back to 6th grade science:
How does moisture in the air form? Oh wait it's water from the earth that evaporates back into the clouds and form rain and snow etc.
When global warming melts the ice caps and water level rises, and more of sun rays get to the earth because carbon dioxide damages the earth's protective layer, more moisture get in the air.
When the ice caps melt and that water makes it's way to warmer water, its cools the warm water, actually making it colder.
When stuff actually happens, then I guess you all will say "well I guess global warming was real after all"
The best scientists just put out a U.N. report today talking about how global warming is causing climate change.
This question shows that you don't understand the idea of global warming. Why the hell are people against doing things that would be good for out environment?

The myth of melting enough ice to stop the conveyor belt has all but been discredited. It isn't going to happen unless it warms far more than anyone expects. Last I checked it is still cold in Greenland and Arctic. Would adding a little CO2 to the atmosphere cause the next ice age? No. The next ice age will come with or without our help. Trying to blame humans for everything that goes wrong with the world is a game leftists play.

You are obviouly misinformed. Lets just keep putting all the money into Iraq and halliburton.
Today it is 32 degrees. Three days ago it was 80 degrees.
Something isnt right. If you look at the amount of Co2 levels in the atmosphere( type in Co2 climate change in the search) then you can obviously see that humans are causing it. I dont know how to provide a link or I would.

Dude you may be too young-we had global ice age alarms in the 70's,then in the early 80's when ice didn't work, the libs came up with overpopulation and starvation.God I'm so tired of all these f*cking crisis! Can't these assholes get it right for at least one time!

Whatever it is, Liberals will demand that a monstrously cumbersome, bureaucracy be created to fight it. Maybe they will say we should have done more to fight global warming, but since we didn't, Mother Earth is fighting back by trying to re-establish ecological balance. There will be hippie sit-ins, and people like Barbra Streisand leading the sheep.
Actually, Soviet scientists are predicting a global cooling by 2012. See website below.
