That defintly is the biggest season game this year, everything is on the line, I'm going with Toronto they'll have the crowd behind them... but the Islanders are getting eighth the next two games are fairly easy for them. New Jersey won't be sticking any of there stars in because the result of getting somebody hurt before the post season. But to tell you the Truth I hope Montreal Kicks the living day lights out of Toronto just like the Islanders did the other night.

Saturday will be cool.
Isles have to win both games and hope Leafs win in reg.
It's like a bonus sudden death playoff game at the ACC. Now if the Leafs hadn't suffered a meltdown in the third period in Buffalo a few weeks ago things would be different.

You mentioned the Habs winning ... they don't have to win, if they tie they are in. They get a point for a tie and because they have more wins then Toronto, they still get the last spot.
It is a must win for Toronto .... anything past regulation time, puts the Leafs on the golf course come the 8th of April.

the islanders r gonna take it. i mean look everybody is watching that game but nobodu is talking about how good the islanders team is. I think toronto will beat montreal but the islanders will beat the devils and the flyers, the islanders r showing how good they are by beating toronto and the rangers back to back with their back up against the door. I think the islanders momentum will get them into the playoffs.

Should be a good game for sure. Halak coming up from Hamilton and playing so well reminds me of Penny coming up from Halifax back in the day-that bodes well for the Habs.

This game might only get bigger on Sat. since the Isles play in the afternoon. If they lose, it becomes impossible for them to catch TO or Mtl, so its literally a battle for the last playoff spot.
That will add even more to it.

Battle of the Losers?...The Habs and the Hab nots..Neither team has a shot at the cup, neither team has a Canadian captain..the Cup has always been won with a Canadian capitan no matter what logo is on the front...

One of Canada's biggest games in years, indeed. One of the biggest games for the league in recent years. TV ratings will be through the roof. Great for CBC and Canada . . . and for . . . oh, that's right - no U.S. coverage without NHL Centre Ice. Thanks Gary.
