What happens next when a Muslim WOMAN hits her husband? I accidentally hurt my husband by throwing a small statue at the door as he was leaving. I didn't mean for it to even go near him. Unfortunately, the statue shattered and cut my husband badly in the face. What is going to happen to our marriage?

Did I mention he had to go to the hospital for stitches? I guess he may never forgive me for this. I am so sad:(

You hurt your husband and you didnt mean it right the best thing is to pray to Allah to forgive you and then ask forgiveness from your husband, convince him that even you were angry or upset you didnt mean to hurt him in anyway.
right now you feel devastated and so is ur hubby, i understand but just make sure you say sorry to your hubby and mean it and pray to Allah, that he makes ur hubby understand that it was a mistake, believe me He will help you.
Read ya raufo as much as you can it will take the anger from you husband.
and remember next time when anger hits you try to read "lahol wala qooata illabillah hilaliul azeem" it certainly helps too. read it now too.
try tp be pleasing for him, not as such that he thinks you are happy for hitting but such as to be courteous to him and pamper him. try to finish the conflict before night it will streghten your relations

No curse would take place on you if you do that. BUT there should be mwadatan wa rahma, companionship and mercy between both of you. Now, you accidently threw that statue and it ripped his face apart, either he will forgive you or he will divorce you for messing his face up.
I doubt he would divorce you, but you could do your best to apologize to him and tell him you will try to control your anger, acknowledge your mistake instead of saying "Wallah, I didn't mean for it to..." it would make it worse actually- because you are denying the fact that reacting physically towards him with your anger is wrong.
So Hopefully inshallah, he will forgive you and don't do that again, next time just scream into a pillow.

im a muslim...for heavens sake stop being so paranoid about it.u were just upset.u love him and really care about him.so wats the big deal about it.tell him how sorry you are.love him.make him feel gud.stop fighting and solve the problem.
islam has given equal rites to men and women.thx god you arent one of these american fake christian otherwise your hubby would have slept with another woman as your punishment.but never do this again.its not good to start throwing thngs at ecah other.so chillax.all i can say is MAKE HIM FEEL SPECIAL AND NEVER DO THIS THING AGAIN.tc and best of luk
