Grandmother on Bewitched? If you mean Samantha's mother, that was Agnes Moorehead.
I could always remember her name because the way the intro music to Bewitched went, they played the last little phrase, and I used to sing,
"and Agnes Moorehead as Endora". :)

They both had red hair, so I can see how they could be confused.
