I'm talking about great acceleration similar to the wrx or lancer evolution but for cheaper... it can be used.
how would I upgrade it?

Camaro, Trans-Am or Firebird (Either w/ ram air if available), Chrysler 300c (must be 300c), Charger, Dodge Neon SRT- 4 (Nitrous, Supercharger, Aftermarket Exhaust, Ram-Air or Forced Air intake,Forged pistons, and other easier mods(weight reduction), racing cams would make this car h***a fast. I know someone who has a SRT- 4 and he says it runs really great/fast, although it isn't stock. Go to a dodge dealer, see if they have a srt-4 for trade-in/ used that you can test drive, or have them check to see if any other dealers in your area have one, or can get a hold of one for you to test drive.

Also try to drive a dodge charger, or a Chrysler 300c (awd or fwd either one, it don't matter, they both fast and handle awsome). Try all of the above listed cars if you can find them used, or listed personally in your paper, or on ebay, or anywhere you see any of the listed cars within or below your price range. Thses are all quality cars, that you could get for less then 20k used from a dealer or privately sold vehicle owners. Put any combination of supercharger(s), nos, racing cams, racing valves, ram/ forced air intakes, performance chips (from autozone, oreilys that are made to work with your car anywhere from 50 hp - not sure how high they can go), racing cylinder head, (car weight reduction), A new Fiberglass Body Kit to replace the oem heavy bumpers and sidepanels, hood. Any combo of these mods will make any of these cars h***a faster, as long as these parts are compatible w/ your engine in whatever car you choose in the end. Possibly have the timming, spark, fuel injection speeds adjusted to a faster, more rich setting to increase combustion and power during the combustion and/or power stroke. Get the most barely legal adjustments for spark, timming, and fuel injection that the car can have and still pass an emissions test, but beware, your gas mileage will drop some, once these adjustments are made. Always obey the law. Race on the tracks, not on the streets, and always wear your seatbelt, and possibly a helmet, and for those extreme racers/ safety smurfs, a neck brace.

properly for acceleration i could say fing a AWD automobile. yet with in basic terms $6000 to spend. i could say discover a 240sx with enhancements alread on it. a rx7. a supra mabie. properly seek for older vehicles like interior the 1990's or extreme 1980's. or be a gay fag and get a mustang. in case you do ill decrease all your tires daily. and harm your living house windows. steel your radio and audio gadget...

Early 90's mustang 5.0L with a five speed.

If you add some nice heads and a supercharger you WILL need those big M/T racing slicks out back.

Used, you should be able to get a corvette or a mustang GT both do fine out of the box, but they can be made to really run.
