Lea's right. There's no such thing.

In CA, it's tough to get into pharmacy school without a bachelors unless you got into a school's specialized program where you only take the prereqs before getting a space in the pharm school.

Most people end up going to college, getting their bachelors, and then going on to grad school. Pharm school is really competitive now. So, go to the best school you can.

UCSB is a pretty good school. It's about tied with Davis and Irvine in prestige. However, in the sciences, Irvine and Davis are more prestigious so you might be better off going to those schools instead.

First, UCSB is a very good school, rated in the top 50 in the USA.

Second, there is no such thing as a Bachelors in Pharmacy in the USA any more. You need to read up on how education for pharmacists works. You could find out a lot by checking the Yahoo archives using the "Search for Questions" slot above. There have been many, many questions about this in the last few months.

I think UCSB does have a degree in pharmocology (it's part of the biology department).. but really all you need is any bio-related degree (biology, biochemistry, biopsychology, physiology, etc) to get into a pharmacy school. I'm not completely sure about all this, so do a little independent homework.

Go to UCSB if you want to party, if you like to be around a ton of suburban white people, and also if you like the beach.
I highly recommend a better UC like Davis, Irvine, San Diego, LA, Berkeley. Those are the colleges where people aren't busy getting high, drunk, and screwing like rabbits all the time. But all those UC's i recommended have high asian populations, so that could make you uncomfortable.

In the U.S., the bachelors of pharmacy does not exist. Also, UCSB does not have a pharmacy schoo.
