If you look at the players salaries of both clubs Manutd even pay their players higher,the likes of Scholes Rooney Ferdinand RonaldoGiggs are amongst the highest paid it shows their payroll, United are criticised for not buying players but how much are Rooney Ferdinand and Ronaldo worth 72 million pounds for 3 players and Ferguson plans on spending more money on players this season,Chelsea are a multi million pound squad and United are also a multimillion pound squad, their managers and Chief executives are paid almost the same so why do people only see Chelsea and not United i am a Chelsea fan and i am confused please for ggood answers.

I think it might have to do with their fans rather than their players. I'm an American and don't really know the difference between Manchester United and Manchester Football Club, but we have the same phenomenon between the Pittsburg Steelers and New England Patriots of the NFL. To me it seems that Manchester folks seem to be more from the hard Labour (not the party) sector while Londoners seem to be from the white collar persuasion. So it might not be the footballers their ragging on as much as their fans.

the reason man u is above chelsea is the simple fact that man u's money is in the club's assets and investments and stuff and thus forbes can measure it.
ibramovic on the other hand does not filter his money thru to chelsea's finances........he keeps his money in his many other investments and channels it to chelsea whenever he needs to.....
he is MUCH, MUCH richer than man u's owner and most of the other club's owners......thus, chelsea has an unlimited supply of money its just that forbes cannot measure it because it is not directly linked to the club - its ibramovic's money....

it's the subject i always want to talk about.i always ask ppl too.
man u are rich and the point is because they have money for many years.it's not that much obvious.becauce chelsea came and won the league.because a weak team came and became the best .and because we robbed the cups from them,and because they r jealous.
a team like barca for example:ronaldinho,messi,eto'o ..etc.they have these players.can they be POOR?.with out any money.?
