no, I find it a lot more fun to help people and have them say nice things about you in the future. I think that people who are trying to annoy me are just insecure about themselves. and I don't understand such people.
but now reading everyone answers I think they all are assuming they know the person they are annoying... I didn't even think of it that way... I was thinking about people on Y!A who report everyone just for kicks..
so to modify my answer... If I know the person and I KNOW they can take a joke... yes it's tonnes of fun.

Sometimes it seems I strike a chord with some of them and they overreact with some philisophical answer or even sometimes they start a barrage of religious overtones. LOL
I do find it amusing when supposedly intelligent people fail to see the humorous side of the queston.

Immature? Perhaps, but it is fun, unless the person is really getting agitated, then the advice here is to stop to avoid your head getting ripped off of your shoulders.

totally. there is this b at work who is so self righteous i don't know how she can stand herself. we were at a work event and she was looking for her friend to go home. she asked me if i knew if said friend had left. i said yes, although i had no clue. this woman got all worked up and carried on so. turned out the friend hadn't left, and it was all quickly settled. but i was much happier for it, if only for a few seconds.
