I completely understand what you're asking. Some people can be rude in not understanding why you wouldn't want to name your mixed baby "BOB" & "SUE". It's not a matter of feeling ashamed of being part white, it's a matter of giving your child a name that shows off their background and their culture. I'm asian-american and I'm glad my name isn't "Stephanie" or "Ashley" no offense to anyone.
And names wise, here's a site with great names, you really have to have patience to look through it though but it's got some beautiful ones:

My daughter's name is Azaia (A-zigh-a), "Zaia" for short. Everyone around us loves that name. She's 25% white, 25% asian, and 50% black. I'll be dam"ed if I named her something lame and taken. She's unique & beautiful and I wanted her name to show it.

Anthony, SAM, josh, john, Nathan, bill, tom,Tim,
this are examples of some names, but the best thing that I can tell you is for you to just keep looking at name for when you find the right name for your baby, you will know, for the reason that only you will know when that happens. Good luck on the name and congratulations

I think you lost about 3% of the baby somewhere... see 72% + 25% = 97% not 100%... Also, why must you name your child something ethnic? Why not focus on giving them a nice name rather than a "black" name?

I suggest that you find a name that you both like perhaps look for ethic names from both origins. I have a cousin that is half black half white her name is Kia, Kia is a popular Norwegian name and also African name and it represented both Moms side and Dads side I suggest you look at web sites for names under a specific category that you are looking for to find your fit.

72 + 25 = 97%? I am really confused as to what is a "white" name and a "black" name. And how do you know exactly what part of the child is what. My husband is Korean, and I am white, so how do I know what part is what. I always just assumed he was our child. Not one paticualr race or another.

I don't think it matters whether it is a black sounding name or a white sounding name. I believe kids grow into their names no matter what they are or how they sound!!

the thing is if u make a big deal of if ur baby has a white sounding name then u r making a big deal out of the baby having white in he/she. I see that baby will grow up being ashamed of being half white. Which u should be ashamed of urself for being that way. believe it or not but thats a form of racism too.

Lets suppose the last name is Jones:
Shaka Zulu Jones
Malcom X Jones
Senzangakhona Jones
Dingiswayo Jones
Mthethwa Jones
Mabhudu, Dlamini, Mkhize, Qwabe all are good old non white names...
But the best bet .The really best bet is just to string any series of letters you want to together......Just make it all up..........
