Say you’re a democrat against the war. You believe we have been attack by terriosts that have threatened your life and the lives of family friends around you. How would you go about making sure it never happened again?

I would go after the people responsible. I wouldn't use that excuse to go kill an arbitrary third party. I also wouldn't just "give up" looking for the people responsible. (Like we have given up looking for Bin Laden).

Osama Bin Laden admitted that his group carried out the 9/11 attacks. So, we should have declared war and defined victory as his capture/death.

We also should have used Osama as an example of what would happen to all others who tried to carry out attacks on the United States.

The Democrats ,whether Republicans want to believe or not, are not anti-war....Just ANTI-UNNECESSARY WAR. Afghanistan is where we should still be.. Instead this Republican Joke of a President sent only 30,000 troop members to Afghanistan....But how many were sent to Iraq....let me see, oh yeah...over 100,000.

Any attack against our country must be dealt with....going off on a costly (in dollars and lives) side trip is not acceptable.

I'd probably go after the people who actually attacked us. Like Clinton did when he had the 1st WTO bombers arrested, tried, and jailed. I certainly would not start a war with a country that had absolutely NOTHING to do with the attack.

I'd shift my focus back to Al Qaida and actually capturing their leadership... and on securing our domestic security without trampling our rights.

You know... the things that the republicans have been ignoring while they play around in the big sandbox of economic opportunity that is Iraq.

Well,I would go to war with the people who attacked us,not invent reasons to attack a country that had absolutely nothing to do with it.

Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.Al Qaeda, and by extension, their supporters, the Taliban did.

I would not go after Bob if I were attacked by John if that is what you mean. I would go after the one who ACTUALLY attacked. Unfortunately there are some in high places who believe in going after Bob when attacked by John.

You can't. This is LIFE- not "la-la land". The words "never" & "always" don't apply to humans. Terrorists will be "with us" for as long as there are unhappy people in the world. And as long as we look the other way & do nothing about it, we are ALL at risk.

secure our borders, work with city and state law enforcement to find the terrorist hiding in our country. not start a war that had nothing to do with being attacked in the first place.
