Supposedly she stopped due to "Dr.'s orders." But I don't think she ever started. She was a big girl, and you don't get to be that way by going on hunger strikes. This was her way to be eating again in the public's eye.

Personally i have no use for any of those shows i don't watch them. Because they aren't real idol is a contest simple as that and someone has to win. Now if someone figures a hunger strike is the answer to a problem on a low brow show so be it. Hopefully this guy Sanjaya will be kicked to the curb. And we'll have one less bad gene in the old gene pool to worry about when she drops dead. As for survivor another waste of airtime on TV. Let see them drop a few people in the high Arctic with a knife a few matches and some fishing tackle. And see who'd left after a week or two. No extra rewards no contests if you live you win simple as that.

No, it's not 'extreme' ... it's TOTALLY INSANE. American Idol is a 'reality show' and not something a person should get 'so invloved with' that they would even CONSIDER going on a hunger strike about ... people used to do that when they were 'in prison' in Northern Ireland ... and even then it didn't really do them any 'good' ... but it did get them the 'media attention' because it was considered 'big news' ... and if this woman thinks she's going to get 'attention' from the media because she's on a hunger strike, I think that the 'media' should NOT PAY ANY ATTENTION to her ... because she's 'just crazy' and not 'newsworthy' at all.

I merely had to assert that i understand Sanjaya replaced into no longer the excellent singer on the instruct and it does no longer be honest if he won over others could sang greater efficient, yet i think of all of the poor issues human beings have mentioned approximately him have been uncalled for. He sounds like an outstanding guy. the 1st person who spoke back you mentioned that the full international replaced into happy to work out him bypass, and that i had to assert that it rather is a lie. i understand lots of individuals who're unhappy he's long previous, consisting of myself.

I think it's really sad that someone would be so desperate for attention that they would go on a hunger strike for such a ridiculous cause. Now, if she were hunger striking to bring attention to the genocide in Darfur, or to protest war, or to raise awareness of global poverty, it would be a far more noble and less self-centered thing to do.

Don't do that, if you go on a hunger strike now, what will you do if he wins the whole thing. Kill yourself? i hope your not being serious, because honestly, i don't think sanjaya cares that you don't like him.

First of all Sanjaya sucks, and I love the show. He is ruining it. I think it is a little dramatic but I can understand where she is coming from. Also that person up there who said that he votes for him because he is sick of him, if you didn't vote for him, he wouldn't be there. Smart huh?

I think it is a pathetic shame that anyone even watches American Idol instead of reading a good book or watching good documentaries.

I never watch the show but I vote for him anyway, just because I'm sick of hearing about AI.
