If my lapatop has a 2GB memory maximum and I have 512MB of memory right now...will a 2GB memory flash drive work on it? I'm running on windows vista.

Yes. Your system's (pc's) memory donesn't matter or apply to weather a usb flash memory will work. It will.

A FLASH drive won't give you more MEMORY for your computer. The 512 You're talking about of the Flash Drive is STOARGE SPACE... NOT MEMORY (RAM)

But, the Flash frive wil work with your computer 512 or 2 Gb of Memory

perchance 2 gigs is the excellent. Even greater effective in case you purchase between the incredibly speedy flash drives. They run "ReadyBoost" on Vista and whether you have no longer have been given Vista, the data are written in genuine USB 2.0

Yep. A flashdrive isn't seen as memory by the computer. It's seen as a little hard drive.
