. a lovely custom we had in Ireland ,was building an Easter house. during weeks leading to Easter the kids in the neighbourhood worked hard to have the best house(hut really).we used our imagination to put it together with all the bits and pieces we could avail of. on Easter Sunday we lit a fire in the house and hard boiled eggs . this was before the problem of finding a decent t.v. programme

There was a Easter movie on last night... the "Prince of Egypt" It IS the Jewish part of Easter anyway.

there's some programmes on BBC1 on sunday not sure the rest of the days maybe because no one actually bothers to watch tv and spend the hol either on a long weekend shopping or in church

There are only so many times you can watch Ben-Hur and El-Cid before people have enough! They probably don't want a mass riot on their hands. However, I don't know what the listings are for Saturday and Sunday so there's every chance they will show them!
