I know that Tom Cruise is a controlling man, but how? I don't understand what's happening to her.
Yes, I do like celebrity gossip, but I do feel sorry for them, having their lives so rawly opened to the public.

I agree with DargonLady. None of us knows exactly what is going on. For all we know she has chosen to stop acting and take care of her baby, one day when her daughter is older she may return. They have tons of money so it's not like she has to work. AND because they are public figures, maybe she stays "hidden" so she doesn't have to deal with the paparrzi in her face all the time. If I had a husband who would be able to allow me to quit work so I could raise my kids, heck yeah! So I try not to put too much into what the magazines, shows and papers say.

What's WHAT about Katie Holmes? What's happening to her?
I can't find anything new in the news...am I missing something?
As far as I can tell, she seems to be totally in love, and very happy. They managed to compromise on how to do things at their wedding, so I must assume they're finding compromises in other parts of their life.
Do you really know that Tom Cruise is a controlling man, or are you just listening to what the media has said about him? Don't believe NBC...they're still upset about his interview with Matt Lauer.

Half of the stuff you have probably read or heard is here-say and gossip. None of these people know for a fact that is what is going on. I really do not like either one of them but I think it is getting blown way out of proportion. I don;t believe she in in a prison at her own place. Yes he has known to be controlling but I didnt see Katie Holmes as being all the outgoing in the first place.

Well, when Katie was pregnant with Suri, Tom Cruise told her not to make any noise during the labour because that's all part of his Scientology religion thing... I'm not a big fan of Tom Cruise.
