Can I just ask this please without any rude answers. Are most conservatives racists? Because I've noticed most older generation conservative types i have dealt with treat those who are not one of their race like garbage, give mean/evil looks, and just spew hate (whites and some black republican types, in particular). Of course I don't think all conservatives are racist (but aren't most of them)?

And are all conservatives homophobic/hate GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered) people? Are there conservatives who don't hate or not against GLBT people or is just an oxymoron?

Just questions i figured i'd ask, no sarcastic, rude, or flaming answers please.

Please Hillary Quintoon or whatever that name is, keep your rude comments to yourself.

Anyways I think the point was proven by some of the other answerers. Thank you.

as a conservative I can say no. i know some racist conservatives, but i also know racist liberals.

you can not agree with something and still not hate it. the two do not go hand in hand. you can be against gay marriage and still not hate gays.
you can be against illegal immigration and not be a racist (i still fail to see how they try to attribute wanting legal immigration with racism, but whatever)

I dont know any conservatives who are actually like they are portryaed by Liberals

from the other side I see liberals as being filled with hate, hate for anything that goes against their viewpoints. intolerance, oh sure they say they like all races but look how they treat black republicans or gay republicans. they call them all sorts of names.
I don't think that is how all liberals think but if you only pay attention to the media and the nutcases on Y/A then you will only see extremes, from both sides.

That is a myth perpetrated long ago in the Democrat party to secure minority vote . It was a slap of slander at their opposition ( Republicans ) , as is much of what platforms they run on . Democrats do more harm than good because they encourage the poor to remain dependent on government while being made to think they need government to run their life because they are not capable . Southern Democrats fought long & hard to fuel racism ..Even today , on Yahoo!Answers , a simple question about a black woman as VP will bring Democrats out in force to besmirch & ridicule everything from race & gender , to what they perceive as homosexual / even making fun of a persons' lisp . It's constant and it is the liberals doing it .

I believe that they have some who are homophobic and racist. Unfortunately those seem to be the most vocal. It does seem to be a slight majority opinion in that group but most know how to control their racism or phobia and can live peacibly with others. Radicals just cannot handle anyone even slightly different than themselves. They need to meditate and get in touch with their inner selves.

I'm not a conservative or a member of any political persuasion, but I am racist and homophobic. I hate people of all races, including my own race. And I hate all gay etc... people, but I also hate all straight people.

I hate all biological life-forms.

I love and respect mathematics, robots and computers though.

Does NOT buying a product you don't like make you prejudice against business?
I've been called sexist because I disagree with Hillary.
I would have voted for Barbara Jordan of Texas and she was a BLACK WOMAN.
I have never purchased any RAP "music". Does that make me racist? I love the Platters and own their albums.
Any candidate that wants to sell me on the idea of voting for him or her had better present me with something I want to buy!
It is not prejudice.
It is not being STUPID enough to BUY something you don't like!
I don't like SUVs so I don't buy SUVs.
Simple enough? It isn't prejudice.

It's hard not to answer a rude question without being rude, but here goes. Any time a sweeping generalization is made about any group - ethic, political, etc. - it's bound to be wrong. You can't use the word "all" in front of that group you're talking about and be correct! Examples: ALL Irish are drunks...ALL blonds are dumb...ALL men are macho pigs..ALL liberals ask stupid questions...
Get my point?

Your question is bashing and inflammatory and you want us to go easy on you...LOL...in a pigs eye...

No most are not racist or homophobic...HOWEVER that does not mean that we will agree to allow them to dictate policy....
GAY MARRIAGE....NO
CIVIL UNION with the same benefits as marriage for them...YES

Affirmative action..NO
MOST QUALIFIED FOR THE JOB ...yes

Teaching about Tommy's 2 Daddies....or Tammy's 2 Mommies....NO
Teaching tolerance of others beliefs..YES

DO NOT CONFUSE THE REFUSAL TO ACCEPT THE GARBAGE from the left...with bigotry...

We have the rights to our opinions and the right to express them...
But then again you wouldn't know a fact if it bit you ..as you believe free speech is only allowed if the person agrees with you.....GROW UP

Trolling could be. No, it truly is truly not how issues are executed in Europe you stupid ****. attempt going to the Welsh valleys, the Irish glens, the Scottish Highlands, Poland, Greece, or Italy and notice that many Europeans have morals.

this is a rather nieve question i think. i dont think conservatives are all homophobes. in fact i know quite a few that arent. some people just dont think that the sanctity of marriage should be ruined. be gay all you want, but why do you need to be married? <-- that's not directed at anyone in particular, so please dont take offense. listen, if you want real, non-offensive answers, this might not be the best place. but i think you are very close minded and reather 'conservative' to stereotype people.

Not all, but most. Then you have the hypocrites in their rank, that are anti gay in the daytime, and after dark, come out of their closets to play!
