Scum can be removed by using a strong detergent and very hot water. You will also need a strong bristle brush for your scrubbing. Spray the area with the hottest water you can get then apply of spray the detergent or spread a cream detergent on the area you that want to clean and then get going with you brush and put lots of pressure on the brush. Let all this stand for about 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse with hot water. Repeat until you are satisfied with the result. You may also have to remove some calcium deposit if you live in an area where the tap water is hard. So in this case you need to get some liquid cleaner that desolves the calcium away. There are lots of brand name products that will so the trick nicely. Table vinegar - the kind that you use on your salads in the kitchen can be used if the deposited layer that is to be removed is not too thick. Good Luck.

Use Shampoo and a scrubby (the ones made of netting) then soap up the tile and glass - let set about 3 minutes and rinse. This is a tip from Heloise and it really works well. After you get it clean use one of those Scrubbing Bubbles shower cleaners to keep it sparkling. Good Luck!

If Dow Scrubbing bubbles does not work you can always use oven cleaner! I know it sounds crazy, but I used to clean apartments and that is the only thing that would cut through heavy soap scum and it never harmed the fixtures or the doors. Good Luck!

Kaboom works well, but I think it has an awful smell. Scrubfree works really well and should do the job. I always try new things, but always go back to scrubfree.

Lemon Oil will make everything slippery.

Hi Leila, The way to make them look spanking new, is to use ,"Lemon Oil" on them. It's easy, it's fast, and most important,it works! Just wipe it on, and it instantly disappears. The more you use it, the more it takes off. Bye.
