No, it is another example of hype vs quality stories.

To me, this is the VERY FIRST time Marvel has done anyting that has really had any lasting effect on the rest of the Marvel Universe.
From the "silly" New Warriors mini-series last year...to the "death of Captain America", The creative force behind Marvel must have been setting this whole thing up for a while now!

Can you remember any other story arc / story line that has had such on ongoing impact on EVERY other marvel title and character. Normally, as soon as the mini-series is over, it's as if nothing happened.

With CIVIL WAR, things have changed, and things are still happening! I am enjoying the ride!

I just wish it didn't take so many comics to read one story. there are way to many crossovers these days. Back in the 80's before secret wars and crisis if one hero showed up in another book it was a big deal. you really used to think what if this guy showed up in that comic. Now it common place. putting wolverine in every comic is over kill. I can't stand it.

I enjoyed the cross-overs more than the actual Civil War books.

Not really. I don't follow Marvel too closely, but Civil War had me excited. It had it's great moments, like when Punisher gunned down those two bad guys, and Cap opened a can of woop *** on him. BUT, overall, no. It wasn't.

Absolutely NOT. Truthfully, I couldn't wait until it was over. I know writers are thinking of new and different innovative stories, but heroes against heroes in this magnitude did absolutely NOTHING for me.

No, it wasn't. The various parodies of it were much more entertaining than the actual issues, and that's sad.
