But what the hell. Here goes:

First, let's solve the problem, then put it into a simple statement.

1) If x=7(4+2)
2) then x=7*(4+2)
3) which means x=7*(6)
4) which means x=7*6
5) which means x=42

Statement: If x=seven times four+two, then x=seven times six or 42.
