Oh, Wow! This is really giving away my age. There are tons of songs that get me on my feet.....most of which I haven't heard in years, but the very first one that absolutely made me dance was "Sing, Sing, Sing" by Benny Goodman. We were driving down a country road when it came on the radio. We stopped the car, and all four of us got out and danced in the road.
For the many of you who are way too young to remember it, I highly recommend that you find a way to listen to it.....I guarantee that it will set your feet to dancing as well. Listen at a good volume, the drums will pound through your blood!

Okay I know this is MEGA cheesy...but I can't resist "Eastbound & Down" by Jerry Reid. It's the theme song to Smoky and The Bandit. I start thinking about how kick a** the movie is and I wiggle my buns to the beat!

YMCA by the Village People...
as a matter of fact this song was on when I was stopped at a traffic light the other day so of course I'm dancing along to "Y...M..CA...it's fun to stay at the Y...M..CA-a..." and I look over to the truck driver who had pulled up next to me and he was laughing at me, shaking his head and smacking his leg....!!!
Didn't bother me though, when "It's raining men" by the weather girls came on after that I just kept right on dancing...
