Id prefere not to have to download a program eg bearshare but if someone can tell me how to get videos saved off youtube that would also be helpfull?

On sites such as youtube, there is an embed code and a URL...copy and paste it to something such as a word document or make a folder on your computer to save it to...It's not that hard...

I know Youtube wouldn't let me do that either so use Imesh
