My mom said that after I finish my Britney Spears perfume (eck, personally I hate it...it's too sweet and candy-like) I can get any perfume I want, but I won't be able to get another one for a looong time after that. i'm 14 and I like unique scents, usually ones that are sweet but not REALLY sweet, different, and have character. i have been considering:

Miss Dior Cherie is a good choice for a teenage girl. It's a light scent but it will last all day if you get the parfum strength.
Chanel perfumes are also a good choice - they are all classic scents and don't smell too "perfumy."
Dior Poison or Pure Poison are rather heavy scents and may be too overpowering for you.
If you have to choose just one, I'd suggest going to a major department store's perfume counter and trying on one or two scents and see if you still like them after a few hours. This way you can test the scents before your mom buys you a scent that you may not like later on.
By the way if you really don't like the Britney perfume tell your mom that it's too little girlish for you now and you want to get a more grown up scent.

Chanel ones smell old! Especially Number 5! Don't wear that one you're not old enough.
I would use Miss Dior and Dior Pure Poison! But all those are a little strong for you. Try VERA WANG PRINCESS!

personally i love miss dior cherie it smells really good its kinda strong but in a good way my hubby loves it its lasted me a long time too i recommend it or miracle by lancome its sweet and also lasts long. or escada rockin rio that one is very sweet and fresh smelling .

Try Nanette Lepore by designer Nanette Lepore-it's a pretty fragrance that's sweet but have lots of character. It comes in a pink bottle with a rose on the top.

personally i like chanel coco, but thats pretty strong on a 14 year old. get something a little less serious like a fruity floral not something that says your trying to attract a 28 year old guy =)
