Definitely...heres a funny story...
I was in a bar and this guy I was dating pissed me off. I don't even remember what he did, so it must've not been very important! Anyhow, in my sort of drunkeness, I got up to do karaoke and did a rousing rendition of You Oughta Know by Alanis Morrisette! I got a great applause from the crowd, but the look on his face was like, omigod...I hope that song wasn't for me!
Well we laugh about it now cuz we're still friends. But we didn't continue dating after that!

Both a weapon to convey a message and a shield to keep from getting the message.

Yes I love to dedicate Tool's "Jerk-off" to people who think that doing something bad to someone is only bad if they get caught!

Jerk-off (By: Tool)

Someone told me once
that there's a right and wrong,
and that punishment
would come to those
who dare to cross the line.

But it must not be true
for jerk-offs like you.
Maybe it takes longer to catch a total asshole.
but I'm tired of waiting.
Maybe it's just bullshit and I should play GOD,
and shoot you myself.*
Because I'm tired of waiting.

Consequences dictate
our course of action
and it doesn't matter what's right.
It's only wrong if you get caught.
If consequences dictate
my course of action
I should play GOD
and shoot you myself.*
I'm very tired of waiting.

I should
kick you,
beat you,
f*** you,
and then shoot you in your f***ing head.*

no..but soemone tried to hurt me weth it once. i wus really down cause of my boyfriend wus depressed an i jus cudnt stay hapee cause he just wud make fun of me, or try to bring me down everee time i tried to cheer him up..he said to listen to a certain song to know how he feels, an i wus liek okay..for four hours i looked on the internet trying to find this song..an then i decided to wait another day. when i wus feeling better i decided to look up the lyrics, they were so mean!! like "i hate u" "stay out of my life" an sayin mean names an stuff..if i had listened to that when i wus depressed, i wud have cried... i wus kinda shocked. i try to geve people happi songs when they are depressed *smiles* i thenk u cent stay sad if u find ur perfect happee song ♥ maybe ive used songs to help as a weapon against sadness in that way then..but i cudnt hurt soemone weth a song cause, i know how much et hurts for someone to try to do that..even if thye might deserve it, i just cudnt.
