Save your breath. All you'll get back is bunch of finger pointing, arm waves, and eye rolls from these people. You have to check common sense at the door, sir, because these people do not get it. I admire you for bringing this up and fanning it around, but mark my words, you'll get nothing but some hump about Bush or the conservatives. They can't answer questions without imitating their glorious leaders.
We only know what the dem libs are against--President Bush--not for what they stand for.
Oh this is funny: "Bush has claimed to be a Methodist, Lutheran and Protestant." A protestant describes both Methodist and Lutheran. Protestant Reformation goes back to the 16th century. It was an effort to reform the Catholic church. There are thousands of denominations under the heading of Protestant. Some people believe that Methodist and Lutheran are the same and will use the terms interchangably without doing a little research first, which is probably at the root of your misconception.

There is a difference between being a Christian and forcing your Christianity on others. That is why the gulf is so big between Democrats and Republicans. Democrats believe in God but don't feel that it is necessary to say that everyone must as well. Republicans believe that their religious walk is the only walk that you are supposed to be on. That is where I take exception. Clinton and Gore are Southern Baptists and have been for a very long time. Bush has changed his religion with each campaign he's in. While campaigning in Texas for Governor, he changed his religion twice and then changed it again before running for President. Bush has been a Methodist, Lutheran and Protestant. I can't even remember what he is claiming to be now.
In regards to the US Attorneys, every President has changed them out at the beginning of their first terms. That is not news. What is news is the fact that the US Attorneys that were fired seemed to stem from political issues. The one out of California is the one who pressed forward and got a conviction on former "REPUBLICAN" Congressman Cunningham. Iglesias received not 1, but 2 calls from Republicans in Congress about a sealed indictment about possible charges against a Democrat prior to the November elections...

Why do you think posting question about Christianity is the same thing as being against Christianity? That's ludicrous. The fact that Clinton and Gore are both Southern Baptists and liberals should have made you think before you even posted this question, huh?

Clinton and Gore are not our dictators.
We're free to believe (or not in this case) whatever we want.
There's not really ever been a politician, that I'm aware of, that has encompassed all my beliefs.
Just like you aren't Bush's parrot, right?
Right?
To the moron who posted above me, it's not that they fired those justices because, yes, that has happened in almost every administration for the last 50 years.
What IS the problem is their timing. They fired only some of the justices and kept the others on, with a non-verbal warning that they had better jump in Bushy's front pocket or they're gone too.
You get it now, ya braindead sack of ****?

I don't think Clinton and Gore are Christians. I don't see any real "fruit" of it in their lives! Not all who claim to be believers are!
And yes, liberals are hypocritical. Clinton fired 93 people in the justice department for political reasons when he was first elected and not a word was brought up by the left but when 8 are let go by the Bush Administration - "Oh! We gotta have an investigation because that just ain't right!" The liberals are saying!

They know their candidates are full of crapola when it comes to god, Look at the way they carry them selves, sleep with almost any one, teach their kids to enjoy oral sex in grade school, abort there grand children as opposed to responsibility, cheat and forgive and cheat again,
They're moral less individuals with out shame.
But God loves them any how so pray for them, don't give them the hate they want.

Like the pro-choice Republicans voting for Bush?
Like the old-style conservatives against the war yet back Bush's plans?
Hypocritical?
Like anyone, its the lesser of two evils.
Democrats are no more "christian" than Republicans, IF you know what I mean.
I am free to be unashamed of my Agnosticism!

I don't know about any body else, but I don't base my decision to vote on a candidate's religion. I prefer to vote on the basis of their integrity, capability, and their past political record.

Religion is a spiritual philosophy.
A spirit is a part of the body that only exists because religion says so.
This is the basis for your social and political aspirations and yet you think liberals should respect your insights. Get real.
Just because this society recycles its white trash, doesn't mean you have any value in it.

First off, there's plenty of liberal Christians. Secondly, who the heII are they supposed to vote for? Every presidential candidate is Christian. Are people just not supposed to vote for someone who's of a different religion than them? See, most liberals don't care about religion in politics.... Your question's ridiculous.
