I think it depends on the crime. For example, Malvo who was one of the shooters in the DC area sniper shooting was a juvenile who was rightly tried as an adult. He had no regard for human life.

yes. they know what they are doing is wrong. even 4 yr olds know what they are doing is wrong, and if they end up murdering somebody, they should be treated like a murderer and not be given lenience solely because of their age.
