I think it is because most women don't trust their spouses and feel that if they are being submissive and letting them be the head of the house than that means they've lost control, but I don't think that it has to be that way. If both are respectful and trusting of each other than it can be a balance of the person who is the head consults and decides what is for the greater good of the household. It's just like at work someone is the boss and everyone can't be the boss otherwise nothing would get done!

They work and have children and take care of the house and the bills and clean, cook,nurse,decorate,pretty much everything that keeps a house going--I so wish for the 50's back but that is not going to happen-----some men run when you get pregnant so you as a women are left on your own

I think the man should be the head of the household.
Women do not need to concern themselves with important decisions and working to pay for the house and bills.
All we should be worried about is keeping the house clean and our men happy! oh and taking care of the kids if there are any!

becuase we are tired of the guys feeling so superior of the girls and then all of a sudden he feels that we should bow down to his feet, and then he might become abusive towards us.
