Leaving an old job always makes me sad. There is something about being escorted out kicking and screaming by security which always depresses me.

No actually, I'm not sure. For me it is simply because I don't like change very much, to be honest. I get myself in a comfortable situation and I don't like to get out of it. I have always liked the people I work with at my jobs, and I miss them.

By the way, good luck in the new job!!! I hope that you love it!!!

Life is like a patio door...you never know which side is open.

I have always tried to look toward the future rather than looking at the (immediate) past. You'll always remember the people and good times of your old job but you will make new friends at the new job. (And I wouldn't be surprised if you get at least three marriage proposals on your first day, you woofy man!) Always remember there was a reason you changed jobs in the first place.

Big Behr Hugs!!

Even if the job sucked, there were probably some cool people there.. I quit my job doing corporate payroll and took off to a Caribbean island to live on the beach and work in a beach bar, but I was still a little sad about it. I miss some of the really cool people I knew back then, who I will probably never see again.

It's always sad to leave some people behind.

I experience this every time a show that I am in closes - between 3 and 6 times a year. You will never be that close to that group of people again, no matter how hard you all try.

Good luck in the new endeavor!

Because you've been at your old job and made friends. It's kind of scary taking on a new job, and making new friends.

Don't worry, you'll be great! Good luck to you!

Maybe because you don 't know if you'll be able to still keep up with all your friends at your new job? It's just a guess.

Because you are leaving what is familiar and starting anew. You'll also be leaving many friends. It's kind of like being homesick.
