Emawee, ask one of your friends in your class to tell you what the assignment is. It's very possible that they may have given you a list of books you must choose from so find that out. If you do it and do it well it's a great chance to turn things around.

Thank you and good day.

Hmm?
Monday, that is short notice.
If you were English you'd have at least another week.
So, presuming that you are on Easter holiday. Tell your parents what a pig your brother is being. Then he will have to share his copy with you, and if he doesn't have one...which might be why he doesn't want to share. Either get your parents to write a letter to the teacher explaining why you have not done the work. Or just opick up your favourite book and re-read it and then summarise it.
You can't do something if you haven't got the guidelines, but at least you will have tried.

If you are stuck for a book
Dear Nobody by Berlie Doherty is amazing, or
Flour Babies by Anne Fine. Both good stories..easy to read, and there's nmore than enough happening in them for you to write a summary on.

Since your brother won't help you then ask a friend from your class if they will let you borrow the homework assignment sheet. If you happen to go to ISS again ask a friend to pick up worksheets and homework assignments for you. Ideally you will try to put more effort into your school work and not going to ISS but that is your choice to make not mine..Take care.

I am not going to direct you on what to do, but if you spell your summary paper the way that you spelled your question here on Y/A, you will fail for certain. Grammatically correct and correctly spelled work is as important as the summarization itself.

Just grab a quick book--Like Go Ask Alice or FAce on the Milk Carton. Both took me like an hour.

Do your own homework. I think your parents would like to hear how your brother is hindering your schoolwork.
