My advices are:
AVG internet security 7.5 = 100% (antivirus, antispyware, antispam, firewall, email scanner, internet scanner, and it doesnt slow down your computer which many antiviruses do)
kaspersky internet security=99%(very powerfull, and safe)
CA internet security=99% (very good but slows down your pc)
Bitdefender=97% (A very good one but slows down your pc)
Nod32=98% (one of my favorite because is very safe)
The Shield Pro=95% (good enough)
ZoneAlarm=94% (it has everything so is a good one)
Mcafee=30%=(****)slows down your pc as hell)
Panda=25(****)slows down your pc and you get viruses)
Norton Antivirus=20%=(THE REAL ****) (it really slows down your computer and you get many viruses but it always tells you that you dont have any of them.
HOpe this helped
God Bless you

NOD32 ..of all the anti viruses i tried over the yrs this is by far the best in detecting viruses in the wild with its threatsense technology ...u never have to worry bout viruses sneaking with this one ...the best thing bout it is its small footprint ..it will run comfortably even in low end systems ..it may not look "good" or user friendly like other AVs but its worth it ...

I recommend active virus shield. It is by far the best free antivirus program you will ever use.

Spybot - Search & Destroy detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behaviour to create a marketing profile for you that is transmitted without your knowledge to the compilers and sold to advertising companies. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you haven't intentionally installed, if your browser crashes inexplicably, or if your home page has been "hijacked" (or changed without your knowledge), your computer is most probably infected with spyware. Even if you don't see the symptoms, your computer may be infected, because more and more spyware is emerging. Spybot-S&D is free.

If you want free ones the some of the best...and there are many...are AVG....AD-AWARE SE....WINDOWS DEFENDER... Windows defender is offered by Microsoft and many will feel more at ease using that one...Go to Microsoft.com for that one....I am sure you will receive MANY other suggestions...Most will be good...tough choice....
