I am having a late mid-life crisis! I have been doing a lot of thinking lately about my life, where I have been and where I am going! To put it kindly; "I am not satisfied!" I am a 50 y/o male; assuming that I will live to age 75, I can say that 66% of my life is over unfortunately I have accomplished only 25% of my life goals! this makes for very bad math! I would like to get a general picture of where I stand compare to who ever reads this question: What percent of your life is over? and What percent of your life Goals have you accomplished?

I'm 51 and recently became disabled, so I can't live the physically active lifestyle I used to. I've had 2 long bad marriages & therefore 2 divorces. I've lost most of my earthly possesions, but I have a daughter and found a good man after 48 years, so I'm basically happier than I have been in a long time. I was a 3rd generation pack rat & my mistakes in life made me realize that "things" don't really mean much. It was a hard lesson for me to learn. Especially since one of the "things" was a house. I'm still in the process of getting rid of the things I still have. We're discussing buying the house we're renting & I'm kind of afraid to get attached to another "thing". I was really depressed for about a year after I became disabled. I had a good job for almost 20 years & now I don't have much money, but he has a decent job, so we're OK. So, in conclusion, I was disapppointed that I haven't accomplished more, but I did accomplish more than some, so I've learned to accept my life as it is now. Sorry for the long essay, but I can relate.

I don't know what percent of my life is over. I could die tomorrow I could die 100 years from now. And my only goal in life is to live life as best as I can. I think I can say I've achieved that.

If your "life goals" only take a fraction of your life to accomplish, what are you going to do with the rest of your life?
