5 2/3 = 17/3 = 136/24
4 3/8 = 35/8 = 105/24
ratio = 136/24 * 24/105 = 136/105 = 1 31/105

I would say that you should first convert both of them to proper fractions.
so the first one is 5+2/3, and if you want to make it into one fraction, multiply the 5 by 3 and divide by 3 (the denominator)
(5*3)/3 + (2/3) = (15+2)/3 = 17/3
So the second one, multiply the 4 by 8/8
4*(8/8) + (3/8) = (32+3)/8 = 35/8
Now when you're dividing fractions, then you have to multiply by the reciprocal:
(17/3) / (35/8) = (17/3) * (8/35)
So when you multiply the top and bottom, you get:
136 / 105.
I have no idea if that can be reduced or not, but ya.
Hope that helps

Easy!
Change the mix numbers into improper fractions.
5 2/3 is 17 over 3 and 4 3/8 is 35 over 8.
Divide them, mulitply acrosss the numbers.
You get 136/105
im not good at explaining but i just know im right

kay, well 5 2/3 is really 17/3. and 4 3/8 is really 35/8. now 17/3 divided by 35/8 is really multiplying the reciprical. so you flip the seicnd one [35/8] to 8/35. now you just multipy straight across 17/3 x 8/35.you get 136/105. now u can leave it like that or see if you can simplify or you can make it a mixed numebr.

First, make them improper fractions
5 and 2/3 = (5*3+2)/3 = 17/3
4 and 3/8 = (4*8+3)/8= 35/8
so now your problem looks like
(17/3)/(35/8)
Then you just multiply by the opposite to get
(17/3)*(8/35)
Multiply across to get
136/105

5 2/3 = 17/3 and 43/8 = 35/8
so (17/3) /(35/8) =(17*8)/(35/3) = 136/105
