It can be from the NHL, WHA, AHL, ECHL, CHL, OHL, QMJHL, WHL, USHL or whatever league. I hated the old Mighty Ducks logo because it is just dumb.

Maybe you should take another look at the Thrashers logo if you think it looks like a tornado. Also, maybe a Minnesota Wild fan should be the last fan to make fun of another teams mascot name.

The state bird of Georgia is the Brown Thrasher. That's what the team is named after, so a Thrasher is a bird. The logo design is a bird, not a tornado! I actually think it's one of the better logo designs in the league. Now, having the team go by just the "Thrashers" instead of the "Brown Thrashers" is pretty stupid and sounds a lot like the "Wild", if you ask me. Also, I'm not crazy about the shoulder stripe on the jersey only running down one shoulder and arm, instead of both arms. But having said that, the logo design, by itself, is pretty sharp.

The now defunct California/Oakland Golden Seals logo hit the most branches on its way down from the ugly tree. Here is a site with nearly all the NHL logos that have ever been used (and abused):

The Colorado Rockies jerseys of old. Think it was supposed to be a mountain (?) but obviously the "dude" that designed it enjoyed the phycodelic era a bit too much! Second place has to go to those God awful Vancouver jerseys of the 70s. And rounding out my top 3 it has to be those beautiful purple and yellow LA Kings jerseys of the 70s.

The Nordiques has to be way up on the list. So does the Whalers, old Sabres logo and the current Canucks logo. What is that thing?

What was so bad about the old goalie mask designed for a duck? It made perfect sense, why do you think it was stupid? Anyway how can you look at that thing for the Sabres and say that the Ducks was the ugliest?
