An open letter to Rachel Corrie's attackers:
Rachel Corrie was more courageous than those of you who attack her after she's dead. You likely have never stood up for anything in your life except what your TV, Rabbi, preacher or amoral parent told you to think.
You are merely afraid of the truth- Israel is a militarized apartheid state. The U.S. is complicit in the murders of innocent people in Palestine. Rachel Corrie’s courageous life could be the tipping point against Israel’s stranglehold on American foreign policy.
Her life and words are not controversial. Perhaps controversial for some, in the way Abraham Lincoln is “controversial” in the U.S. South.
Corrie’s attackers are afraid of the truth because deep down you know you are ignorant, frightened and lack any conviction. You are a coward, well that’s something to be proud of…
You are the antithesis of Rachel Corrie. She was courageous, idealistic and true.

This really shouldn't be in the Media & Journalism category, it should be in the "Irrational and Unintelligent Rants" category. In general, the content of your post is not indicative of someone with more than average intelligence and certainly adds nothing to the discourse about Rachel Corrie's life.
Rache Corrie was definitely brave, she did risk life and limb to fight for what she believed in. Unfortunately she possessed neither common sense nor the capacity to see shades of gray in a complex conflict. To her, the Israelis are pure evil and the Palestinians are like magic little elves, incapable of doing anything wrong.
I find it laughable that your almost infantile rant claims that Israel is a militarized apartheid state, when the palestinian authority has tens of thousands of armed thugs who patrol the streets in order to commit terrorist acts, kidnapping journalists, killing people without a trial for 'aiding the israelis', etc etc. Palestine is much more of an apartheid state than Israel - the Jews are seen as a lower form of life whom Allah wants dead. It's highly racist, and reminiscent of the Third Reich.
Rachel's words are highly controversial, and her failure to condemn Palestinian terrorism makes her a biased and worthless representative of Palestinian rights. Anyone who complains that the Palestinians are being abused and repressed but is incapable of condemning suicide bombing, DESERVES TO BE SQUISHED LIKE A PANCAKE BY CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT.

I don't know if Rachel Corrie's attackers are cowards - but as for the other three, the short answer is yes.
Rachel Corrie's attackers are ignorant - they have no concept what it is like to live in a place where not so long ago you could be arrested and tortured for displaying the flag of your people, where you could be shot for assembling to peacefully protest against land confiscation, where soldiers might for take a joy ride into your community and shoot your children for sport.
Rachel Corrie's attackers are anti-American, at least, against the allowing Palestinians rights and freedoms I was taught belong to all people, created equal, and "endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights", such as the right to free speech, fair trial and equal treatment under the law. Rachel Corrie's attackers deny that that governments "derive their powers from the consent of the governed" - there is no way that the Israeli military rule in the occupied territories is consented to by its legal residents which is trying to get rid of them.
And Rachel Corrie's attackers are supporters of Israel's apartheid state. Of course.

Jimmy Carter became incorrect. there have been practically no regulations in apartheid-era South Africa. There are regulations now - in most cases discrimination adversarial to Whites, notwithstanding Israeli regulations imposed on Palestinians interior the West economic company and Gaza strip are severe, racist and clean abuses of human rights. also they're unlawful lower than global regulation, as is Israel's occupation of Palestinian land. of course they damage out with it using secure practices of that different maverick global regulation-breaker, the united states.

Rachie Corrie was an ill-advised nutjob who's hobbies included playing in construction traffic and burning the American flag.

She was a sadly misguided young woman who stupidly stood in front of a tank.
How many brain cells does it take to do that? Why have the Pals been kicked out of every ME country they've been to?

Screw her, she was anti-American, duh, and she supported the Arab terrorists. She was accidentally killed. Why should I care?
Get over it.
