In addition to the good sites already given, if you're looking for the primer betta keeping group it's the International Betta Congress.
http://www.ibcbettas.org/

Be sure to check the chapters section to see if there is a club near you

The member sites section gives links to some really great info as well as to breeders selling their fish.

Hope that helps

http://www.bettatalk.com/ is an excellent site for advice on bettas. Betta keepers was an old name for the little acrylic tanks to keep bettas in - these really aren't suitable for most homes (or bettas) because the fish usually require a heater to get the water temperature to 76-80o. Each fish should have at least a gallon of water, and 2.5 or 5 gallons is even better. With a larger tank, you can add filtration as well as a heater, even a snail or a few other fish. If given enough space and warmth, you might be surprised how active a betta will be. This site has all sorts of small aquariums. I use the mini bowfronts for my bettas: http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/index.web

Rather than buy online, I'd suggest printing out a page of the tank you like and see if a local pet store will order one for you. This way, you won't have to pay for shipping.

actually I'm working on making my own page soon, it's gogint o have weekly contests for betta of the week type of thing and all kinds of stuff, they're kind of my passion. but I haven't found anything like that yet... bettatalk.com is very informative, and I think they might have a gallery.

what do you mean betta keepers?
