First of all I am not white, I am a caucasian of Irish Catholic descent. And the people of the Indian subcontinent are also caucasian though their skin color might be darker than mine.

I have read quite about the Aryan colonization of India way back when, yet it has become quite murky in the mists of time. Have any archeologists dug up an Aryan skeleton yet? Is Aryan a race, ethnic group, or just a word?

As far as I'm concerned the Aryans were a mythical explanation for the origins of the Indian people.

Aryan is a term used to associate race with the native speakers of Indo-European languages. It was created by Europeans when they were also measuring the size of heads and claiming that white people were responsible for the civilization in ancient Egypt. They got the the word Aryan from Arya "Sanskrit (आर्य) and Avestan word used by Hindus, Jains, Zoroastrians and Buddhists. It has a variety of positive meanings " see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arya
