Yes, I know who John Cena is. But the answer I give you may be a tough pill to swallow. When I think about this question, I put myself in Cena's shoes. What would I do it I were him and there was a fan who wanted to date me?

John, and all the other wrestlers, have many, many fans. Everyday they have women wanting to just touch them as they pass by on their way to the ring. I'm sure they appreciate each and every one. But, if I were Cena I would not date a fan. The reason is simple. I would want to be with someone who shared the same interest as myself. Interest beyond the squared ring. A date with a fan would be an uncomfortable feeling. They would most likely be awe struck and in a way worshipping the wrestler and not loving the man. I would want someone that was not awe struck but believed it was as much an honor to date me as it would be to date her. We all have famous people we are attracted to. The truth is we do not know what that person is like in the real world. Cena may not even be your type. Would you be dating him if he was just the Average Joe? That's a serious question. Is your attraction to him based on his fame or is it based upon other reasons? For the greater majority of his fans, they would want to be with the famous Cena more than John himself. For that reason I doubt any wrestler would date a fan.

If by some chance you were to get a date with Cena, would you be the giddy idol stricken fan or would you be the girl who can turn his head with just a whisper? My wife can do this. I don't love her just because she's a knock out beauty. I love her because we have a chemistry together, many interest and she can turn me on with just a soft, come hither look that drives me wild. My attraction to her was physical at first (as are most realtionships in the beginning) but we would never be together if her life goals and interests were not the same as mine.

I know you are talking about a date and not a lifetime commitment, but what do you have to offer him? Is it idol worship or a genuine attraction? Do you really think a date with him would be fun without taking into account the fact that he's famous?

What it all boils down to is simple. Most wrestlers would not date a fan because they have thousands of fans and each one would love to be with them. And, to be honest with you, I doubt they would take the chance on someone they don't know. They are in a different city every night, they travel constantly, they commit theirself to the events and they must keep in top physical form. It would be quite uncommon for the to say, ''Yes, I will date this girl.'' Life for them is on the road. You would have one shot at a date and then it's gone as they leave to the next event. If I were Cena, I would probably date someone who is with the business. Someone who would be with me everyday and would know what the life of a wrestler is all about.

I hate to be the one to burst your bubble but the answer to your question, in my opinion, is no. I doubt he would. But hey ... if I'm wrong and you do get a date with him, let me know. I would be interested in how it went. 8~)
