You could have a list called

You really know you are a bachelor when...
... you consider an expiration date on food just a ball park figure.
... you watch TV show reruns in Japanese.
... kitchen cupboards mystify you.
... you buy a automatic dishwasher to wash your 6 dishes, 2 spoons and plastic cups.
... the couch hasn't been made in months.
.... your family laughs about your love life.
... you lost your vacuum cleaner.
... you only date girls with names that begin with "K" or "B".
... girls with names that begin with "J" turn you down.

Otherwise, you could cover these topics.

I've been keeping some ideas and questions for debates so you're welcome to try any of these: Religion Is Religion the center of conflict? / Does Religion promote conflict? Religion VS Science Truth Is there such a thing as absolute truth? Society How much have we as a society, advanced? Where do we stand? Moving past discrimination and then & now? One of the most important things for a writer is his or her motivation and how much interest you have in your idea. If you feel that you can carry this through out, then I say go for it.

Certainly housework, and the ones you mention cooking, shopping, dating, entertaining (how to throw a non frat house party). Could even go into religion some, just that religion no matter what kind should be an important part of your routine as well.
